NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency 
(SBFCA),Yuba City, California, will receive sealed Bids as follows:

SUBMIT BIDS TO:     Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency
                                             1445 Butte House Road, Suite B Yuba City, CA 95992
                                             Until 11:00 a.m. (Local Time)

FOR:  Oroville Wildlife Area River Restoration Project at Robinson’s Riffle Contract No. 03-2026-OWAR

ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $20,000,000

CONTRACTOR’S CALIFORNIA LICENSE AND/OR CLASS REQUIRED: General Engineering Contractor (A License). Hazardous Materials work requires appropriate certificates.

MANDATORY   PRE-BID   INSPECTION DATE, TIME, AND LOCATION: October 6, 2026, 10am, on-site at the Oroville Wildlife Area Field Office (945 Oro Dam Blvd W, Oroville CA 95965)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Work performed under this Contract includes 
the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, incidentals, and supervision for:
The excavation of designated floodplain areas, sorting of  material  by  gradation,  and  material  placement  in areas along the Feather River. Material not used in the channel will be placed at the stockpile area indicated on the plans

A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held for the purpose of reviewing and answering questions regarding this project.  Any interested contractor or his/her agent may attend.  Representatives of SBFCA will be present for questions.  Following the conference, between the hours of 10 and 1pm, the project site will be available for interested contractors to explore. Safety vests are required for touring the site. The contractor’s attendance of the field tour is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged.
